Hail and Well Met!

Come one, come all good lords & ladies, merchants, yeomen, performers, peasants. Let us present to you the Siouxland Renaissance Festival!

Here you can travel back in time to the glorious reign of Queen Elizabeth I. See the sights, hear the sounds, taste the food. Learn what it was like to live over 400 years ago as you take part in our historically flavored faire.

View demonstrations of period crafts and skills, partake in games of chance and skill, join the celebration of a wedding on Saturday, enjoy the elegance of High Tea on Sunday.

The festival will host a wide variety of vendors plying their trade and offering goods of every kind; foods to suit every taste; and a realm especially for children. Come thrill to the spectacle of armored jousting.  Marvel at our jugglers, dancers, fire-breathers and other entertainers on our five stages. Roam the streets filled with the people of Shrewsbury County and amusements of every kind from wandering minstrels, pirates and fools.

Come join us at the 7th Annual Siouxland Renaissance Festival on the grounds of the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls, SD on June 7th & 8th, 2008. Or join us sooner at our many educational programs, classes and meetings. Explore this site to find out more about the festival, working with us, becoming a vendor or performer. Welcome to our Festival!
